i'm a non-witness who is doing research on jehovah's witnesses (and has been for several years).
i just got out of a meeting with an elder and his wife.
i'm still somewhat stupefied.
The goal of active JWs is not to answer questions, it's just to preach. It's almost impossible to get strightforward honest answers from JWs if you have critical question.
They did not lie, they just applied some "theocratic warfare strategy". Hiding the real truth to an outsider is not considered lying among JWs.

At one time they will make statements like that then in the next Watchtower or Awake

In fact DOT started realizing it some moth ago in another thread......about defending "the truth".
In fact tha's why DOT started this thread where hi/she is critical towards the WTS.
Let's keep in mind that this process is not a very easy and painless one.......please go easy with doubting JW's ...there is no use scaring them away from this board.

It's a bit sad than a lot of people only remebber you defending WT-doctrine. But you know, such defenders are unique at this board. I hope you are not to much offended ........but I understand that it's not nice being met with suspicion.
Sometimes I think we are prone to be to suspicios about people changing their mind. And maybe a bit to quick to call people trolls.

kendall lakes congregation (miami fl usa), partook of the emblems.
he is an elder(40), his wife and their 2 daughters (21 &19), all 4 are also regular pioneers.
another 6 pioneers in that congregation partook of the emblems..
So 10 partakers in one congregation. All of them pioneers. Hmmm. if this can be verified it's interesting.......something seems to happen among the insiders and very active ones.
snapper creek (miami, fl) congregation, had 2 pioneers (female), partake at the memorial for the first time.
one is 20 years old, the other 23.. the gt delayed again!!

I just wonder for how long they will remain pioneers. Probably the elders will take some action.

I am not sure, but I think according to most scholars this story in Judges is older than the Story of Lot in Genesis. Probably some detail in the story of Lot is a copy of this story.

sexual energy is one of the highest forms of energies known, why would god put this strong desire in us only to have us repress it through his"word the bible"??.
You have already gviven the answer.......the high energy of sexual desire......of course religion have to try to control that energy. If religion cannot control that energy it cannot control anything. That's why religion and sex is so connected.
